People are naturally in a parent-child whole/part hierarchical relationship . People are the children of parents that tie together a genetic generational hierarchy of mutually-exclusive unique individual members – humanity, its forebears, and its descendants. This is my hierarchy of descent, the position I was born into: son/daughter, uncle/niece, grandchild, greatgrandchild, in two family trees.
